TN: 2009 Tercero Gewürztraminer The Outlier

  • 2009 Tercero Gewürztraminer The Outlier - USA, California, Central Coast (8/20/2011)
    Popped and poured. Subtle notes of lychee, egg custard, muddled mint and lime. Zesty and vibrant on the palate but could use a bit more fruit (and maybe some RS) on the midpalate and finish. A fun, affable wine, nonetheless, and a terrific summer sipper! (88 pts.)

This has been one of my favorite "summer sippers" year 'round. Love it. Looking forward to trying the '10!

Paul, thanks so much for posting. I hope you post often since your palate is exceptional!

Great wine...I could drink this anytime. Especially on warm SoCal days. I gotta see if Larry has some of the previous vintages...vertical time!
