Lucky enough to get a couple bottles of this wine from the winemaker, Matt Brady.

This is the second wine I've had of Matt's. I'm starting to see his style.

His wines are brilliant, opulent, and down right yummy.

Light garnet when you look down the stem. Spice (sweet and savory), bright, pure red fruit, with an underlying blueberry. Totally consistent. Medium body with a long finish. Great structure...touch of smoke and leather on finish.

Wow...great wine. I wish Matt made more!!

Sounds nice. Any idea of which vineyard (or vineyards)?

Cheers,

Phil,

I thought you mentioned that this was part Thompson and part Larner, no?!?!?! Curious to hear and curious to sit down with Matt and do some comparative tastings (-:

Cheers!
